WORD-MONICS by Lois
Chapter One

Pick up your pickax and shovel, join the gold rush in the form of word extractions.  All your tools of the trade will be explored
and thoroughly explained.

Chapter Two

You will be asked to help a young girl find her grandmother; find the arrow on a famous truck and to find out who’s hiding under
the table. Learn to ask questions. Do you zeper?  Learn what MALLEES shop for, play press words on your cell phone, and meet
a purple hitchhiker.

Chapter Three

Learn the origin of why cyclops have only one eye.  Learn how words stacked atop each other can boost your scores.  Learn about
cats and how to throw your name around gymnastically.  Then, we’ll take you spanning the globe, first stop, TOLEDO, THIO,
and DEL,  AWARE  before your final destination, NORMANDE, FRANCS.

Chapter Four

You will be taught how to become an armed and dangerous, mean bouncer.  Learn to play the name game with TONY BENNET
and BROCK PETERS.

Chapter Five

Say HELO to words that have secretive magic powers.  Discover what ED’S fetishes are. Think hair extensions have nothing to
do with word games, BETTA think again. Drinking too many GIBSONS and seeing double can be advantageous here.  It’s a
tradeoff if you need an EFF instead of a PE and an AITCH.

Chapter Six

Get your scalpel ready to implant, lop off, or exorcise letters.

Chapter Seven

This is a fun chapter; meet Oprah, Prince, a prankster, have a chat with schizophrenics, giggle as you get DREST, witness a shoot
out at the O.K. Corral, watch Serena play tennis at Wimbledon, and finally, learn how to make alphabet soup and FRIEZE ices.

Chapter Eight

Who knew that words could bungee jump?  This chapter shows you how (DHOW).  Play coed word game anatomy; exercise all
your artistic skills by letting your graphics tell the anagram story.  Meet FLORENCE KNIGHTING GALE and the spider of
Little Miss Muffet fame.

Chapter Nine

Yea-a-a-a! We’re going to Six Flags to do some square dancing.  Look for the pot of COLOURED gold at the end of the rainbow
while playing some numbers at the CASSINO with JERRY SPRINGER.  You will meet a South American three-toed sloth,
Betsy’s foot, Rented logs and Knight’s maw.

Chapter Ten

Have a peanut butter and jam or a DAGWOOD sandwich with BLONDE.  Pack up your BEANOS and hit the road! You are
now ready to tackle Wordmonics, that is, if you have faithfully and religiously done all your homework in chapters one through
nine.
